Paper Tigers is a refreshing cocktail of the roots of the 60’s and 70’s
rock and roll and the sound of the Brit pop of the 90’s.
The four young men are not afraid of being compared with The Fab Four
and Oasis. They are not trying to sound like their great idols just as they
aren’t trying not to.
The recipe is simple; guitar, bass, keys, drums and four vocals. That is
all it takes but that is not all you’re gonna get. Paper Tigers have had some
great reviews for their live shows as well and their great energy on the stage
really is something special.
All of this made their way to the Danish Underground Music Awards 2011,
where the band won the reward as Rock Act Of The Year.
The band has toured as the warm up act on The Blue Van’s Denmark tour
2011 (Danish international rock band who had their huge breakthrough with the
song “There Goes My Love” which was the soundtrack for the first Apple iPad
commercial). Paper Tigers has toured round Denmark over the last one and a half
year, and is now ready with their first record – the “If We May? EP.
